Gday guys!! ((yea I'm Australian)) and a studying student
using NTSC disks and a NTSC player for american and Asian titles.

just got my first laserdisc player and my first couple of movies
I'm really exited about laserdisc and want to start collecting them!

heres what i have to start with
My player: Panasonic LX 120 ((yea pretty basic player i know))

only got a couple of movies mates
The last straighter - with advertising leaflet of other laserdiscs.
The lion -king (letter-boxed edition) -Digital surround
The rescuers down under -digital surround
Criterion collection a night to remember
Attack of the 60 foot centrefold
    N.u.r.s.e.s. of the 407

im interested in getting hold of the rare and obscure titles on laserdisc. ((including demo and test discs.))

although as a studying student collecting will be slow and hard work but well worth it Wink

    Hello LDK,

Great to have you here. I would not worry about what you called your "basic player" too much. Hey, you have got one and that makes you a member of a great community of dedicated collectors, so break out a couple of cold tubes!

Besdies which, though my players are all Pioneers, I have had a fair amount of PANASONIC hardware items over the years and they have always had great build quality and lasted for ages.

    Welcome.
