Post your VHS collections :D

here my VHS collection well half of it got around 14 boxes from my uncle i have yet to sort out each with around 40 tapes in each of them.

i did have alot of vhs and betamax videos but ive got rid along time since and replaced with dvds

My VHS collection is gone for ages, but it was never really that big. Now thinking of getting rid of most of my dvd's too. Now I wonder why I ever got into them, I never really liked them. Think I'll stick with only LD and Blu-Ray.

Not all DVDs are so bad. I have some nice collectors editions of horror films. For example Aftermath - the corpse edition that comes in a presentation case.

Besides the cheap presentation (especially the last five, six years they're really going for the cheap) It's mostly the sound on dvd's that I think is soooooooo weak. But there have been a few nice editions and I'm going to keep those, but at least 3/4th of them can go.

I totally agree. They have gotten quite bad. Doesnt seem like anybody wants to throw cash at them anymore. I have around 500 DVDs including a lot of rare releases. I will be keeping them all as I dont fancy replacing them for a newer format.

I think the way its going Bluray will possibly be the last disc format. We are definitely heading into a world of downloaded noughts and ones.

I'm afraid so too. I just hope Blu-Ray will continue, even if downloading became the norm. I'm not the least bit interested in having a movie collection on my computer. Then I'll simply stop collecting. Might be not too bad, it's a lot cheaper :-) I download music every now and then, for that I think downloads are more useful. But even if I really like something a lot I'll still want the cd.
