How can we devise ways to bring the format back? With the saturation of blu ray out there it will be tough. But, never underestimate the comeback of anything. It will take a strong united effort just like those who clamored for the return of vinyl. The issue with laser is that it is not based on sound alone. It will be when some (many) in the industry recognize that HD can co-exist with laserdisc, a purist mostly analog video. The push to to put todays technology into lasedisc is the answer. That will be staggering. Think of the increased resolution with a smooth fil-like quality, the awesome cover art, inserts, book art, all CAV with that famous resonance of laserdisc sound. It's coming, it's just a matter of time. Peace.
