    Hello everybody. I am a new member here but been collecting and playing Laser Discs for many years. I may be needing an RF modulator soon as I am contemplating some hardware changes. Does anybody know of one for sale? Thanks, Philip.

    Hi Philip and welcome to the forum.

    A Demodulator is a glory to behold! It will unleash all that DD5.1 loveliness from you encoded discs and you shall pronounce yourself very pleased.

    I am a big fan of LD 5.1, it may not be reflected by numbersm by 5.1 from an LD just seems to be fuller and richer than its totally digital counterpart on DVD.

    They do come up quite often on the 'bay and not-surprising prices, but wait for a seller in the UK to put one up...the USA and JAPAN markets are crzy for themand this is reflected in the prices...
