    Hi all, I'm Tom.
I've been a Home Theater nut for the past 15 years(ish) and Laserdisc is to blame! I saw a demo of Jurassic Park on LD in a local hi-fi shop and said YES to loads of overtime at work soon thereafter!

I own 2 Pioneer machines, the CLD2950 and DVL-91 Elite, both in good working order and spent a small fortune on Criterion releases and box sets. I also subscribed to "Widescreen Review" magazine. Mostly watch Blu-Ray now but still enjoy the odd LD.

Thanks to "DGTWoodward" for telling me about this site.
    Long live LaserDisc. cheers

    Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for the delay in respoding, I normally welcome new members much sooner than this but, sadly, things got in the way!

As I mentioned when we first met, I too have a 2950 and can easily see why it is regarded as one of the best UK PIONEER machines ever made.

Also, you have just won the YTOOPIHEMFOOMUF Award of the month... the oft copied and much coveted "You're The Only Other Person I Have Ever Met From One Of My Usual Forums" Award.

Glad that you are here, so get those photos up and viewable so that we can all drool over your Criterions affraid

Thanks DGT for my induction into the "YTOOPIHEMFOOMUF" club. The Pioneer 2950 is truly an awesome machine, long may it last.

Thanks for the welcome repairman 1234.
