Autographed Laserdiscs

Just wondering if any of you have got any Laserdisc sleeves signed by cast or crew of that title. I have several and the comments I've had when getting them signed have been interesting.

ANTHONY HOPKINS - Commented on enjoying recording the commentary track on the Criterion 'Silence Of the Lambs' although he never saw the finished product

BARRY FOSTER - Signed the laserdisc of the Hitchcock movie 'Frenzy' and mentioned that (at the time) the UK release was cut

KAREN ALLEN - Signed my Raiders Of The Lost Ark sleeve 3 years ago and said they looked so much better than the packaging of DVDs and still has a collection of her own

ROBERT ENGLUND - Loved the Elite edition of Nightmare On Elm Street 3 sleeve and also commented that he prefers it to the DVD sleeve. Also added that he'd never signed one before

TERRY GILLIAM - Signed my Criterion of Monty Python And the Holy Grail, and just said 'Good man!'. I think he approves

Awesome! I'd love to get some of my LDs signed. So Karen Allen has a LaserDisc collection, that's cool. I bet Terry Gilliam loved signing the LD. Getting cast n crew to autograph LDs also lets the film industry know that LaserDisc is still alive.

If he does not pull out between now and then...I am hoping to get Clive Barker to sign my Laserdisc Gatefold of Lord Of Illusions and my DVD box of Hellraiser movies, here...

That looks like a great event DTGW. Which day are you going?

We have tickets for the whole weekend, and we are taking a couple of days either side of the event to bookend the trip. We are in a Premiere literally just around the corner from Earl's Court 2

Also as a surprise, I also have a photoshoot ticket for my wife to have a pic taken with Chris Lloyd in his cowboy outfit, next to a real Delorean.

Had my Star Wars SE boxset (Jap version, 2nd release) autographed by:

Carrie Fisher (seemed thoroughly disinterested, can't says I blame her)

Billy Dee Williams (pleasant enough but seemed surprised to be autographing something that didn't have his picture on!)

Warwick Davies (seems like a lovely bloke, had his kids running around and commented on how cool the LD boxset looked)

Yep, it was at Collectormania in MK a few years ago.

I had STAR WARS CAV box set signed by an Ewok cast member Mike. “Admiral Ozzel” Michael Sheard and “Boba Fett” Jeremy Bulloch who looked fine after being feed to the “Sarlacc”!.
