"What ho, laser lads!" from Australia

    Post  laser007 on Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:11 am

Stumbled onto this forum as a consequence of searching for non-ebay sources of LD's. Was into LD as a general 'home theatre' component up 'til late last century; jumped ship for the 'other' disc, and have since developed a taste for into the hi-def flavour of 'Blu'.

That said, I maintain an interest in collecting international LD sleeve art. I'm sure that no-one will disagree that of all formats, past or present, audio or video, none approach Laserdisc for quality (on myriad levels).

My specific area of 'sleeve' interest is the "James Bond" arena, in which I've only recently discovered the Japanese and European LD experiences.

In the coming weeks/months, I hope to launch a website devoted to 007 on international Home Video sleeve art across all formats (e.g. LD, CED, VHD, VHS/Beta/V2000, VCD/CD-i, DVD, Blu-ray, and UMD) - with over two-hundred hig-quality 007 laserdisc sleeve scans from North America, Japan, Hong Kong, UK and Europe.

Anyway, I'll get onto exploring the various forum topics...
