Pioneer CLD-2950 and 25 discs

Hi All,

Glad I found this forum as I have decided to sell my laserdisc player and 25 discs and wanted it to go to a good home rather than just ebay. I bought my player new when it first came out and spent the next few years buying the latest releases most of which were NTSC versions but the player has not really been used for a few years and so being a bit of a hoarder I have come to the hard decision to sell up.

The player is a Pioneer CLD2950 which is in as new condition and not a mark on it, it has not had the AC3 mod done though, it has been used to watch the 25 discs once maybe one or two twice and thats it. All the discs are like new too with many in the cellophane and protective sleeves.

Most are widescreen and the NTSC ones are mostly THX AC3 and nice gatefold cases.

Im not sure what discs or player is worth so would appreciate some advice and genuine offers, Bristol area.

Hi thanks for the offer, its quite big and heavy with all the discs whereabouts in the country are you as im in Bristol area and will be in chelmsford in a couple of weeks so may be able to drop off to you

Hi well I Live in chester...which is next to liverpool...I would give you £90 if you dropped it off to me.....can you tell me some specs about the player?.....does it play NTSC and PAL?....and does it offer Both Sides Play?.....does it have remote and manual?

yeah, this player is pal/ntsc and its an auto flipper!! ;-)

Yes it plays ntsc and pal and the discs are a mixture, I also have the remote but not sure about the manual but I will have a look. I have the original box so it will be packed correctly.

Make it £100 and I will send it by courier this week you won't be disappointed, I bought it new and think it was £600. All the discs have been stored upright and I have just checked the player and it all works fine, flipping sides etc..

I don't travel up your way so it would have to be courier, can you pay by paypal?

it wont let me post my email address..but my email without any of the spacing dont have a pay pal account,but wife does,so that might be an option...although I am abit nervous if I cant give you the money directly....the player ticks all my boxes and some of them films are nice...Ill give you £95....thats all I can give....its only a fiver ddifference,the photos of the machine and films Id like very much..thanx....how does the pay pal transction work anyway....?
