Picked up a joblot today Mainly pal :)

I picked a joblot of 23 discs up today, and the best part is, not only are they nearly all near mint,all bar 2 or 3 of them are PAL!

I got a hold of:

18) UNIVERSAL SOLDIER
19) HARD TARGET
20) TWISTER
21) HOUSE PARTY
22) JOHNNY HANDSOME
23) KISS OF DEATH

I picked up 11 films the other day:
Die Hard
Lethal Weapon 1
Lethal Weapon 2
Jurrasic Park
Total Recall
Independance Day
Rambo First Blood Part 2
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
The Hunt for red october
Batman Forever
The Fugitive

Both lots of films were local , Bought a few LDs on ebay lately, waiting for them to arrive:
Star Wars Episode 1
Back to the Future 1,2,3

Now that is a really good collection of titles. Can I be really cheeky and ask how much the lot of 23 was and the price of SW:Part 1?

You say that the big lot was local, lucky you! I wish I had a word of mouth system spread wide enough to do any good!

There is a place near me called "Half Priced Books" and they sell used laserdiscs. Normally they sell them for between $3-$10 each. I stopped by in one of their stores and they had all their LDs on sale for $1 each on clearance so I bought 30 of them. FYI there is a really cool website called Laserdisc Database at www.lddb.com that pretty much lists every LD ever made. You can sign up with them for free and make wish lists plus people on there sell LDs. It is a very cool and informative site. On the site I have about 60of my LDs listed and haven't added the last 40orsoI recently bought. Maybe this will help some of you guys out.

Well you are certainly right about that. It is an invaluable resource indeed, my collection is up too.

I like how I can lookup LD titles and information about the there
