    What should I watch tomorrow?

Post  March on Thu Nov 10, 2011 8:49 pm

I have a very rare day off tomorrow and feel like getting in some LD viewing. I have a bunch of titles that I have never seen and can't decide which ones to go for - anyone have any recommendations from the following:

    Dave
    Blue Velvet
    Cabaret
    The Remains Of The Day
    The Howling
    2010
    Vibrations
    Beyond Bedlam
The best little whore house in texas
    Sunset boulevard
    bullets over broadway
    phantom of the mall
    Captives
    Out Of The Past
    Do The Right Thing
    Pardon Mon Affaire
    Opera Imaginaire
    Beast Master III

A Friday off in November -yup... that's a disc day. Lucky lucky!

The Remains Of The Day - no action but a very classy picture with fine acting revealing creepy sides of the period before the war.

The Howling - good, old school, fun horror with groundbreaking SFX make-up and lots of in-jokes if you're into older genre-pictures. A friend was one of the writers.

2010 - story might be a little thin and slow but it's a visual treat

Sunset boulevard - a CLASSIC. Noir. Billy Wilder. Endlessly quotable and one of the best pictures about Hollywood. A masterpiece!

Bullets over broadway - funny, mid-career Woody Allen. -And the setting is great!

Oh good. I was going to suggest Sunset Boulevard. Good movie. Just picked up a copy myself recently.

Enjoy your well earned day off Smile
