I work for an art gallery in London who have bought a piece of work from the early 90s on laser disk. The disk and player are in bad shape and wont play. Does anyone know a laser disk specialist preferably in London but also further afield?

Re: Fixing Laser Disk Player
If the disk itself is in bad shape, there is a possibility it will not play or will be of poor quality when played.
Heavily scratched discs work but will give poor reproduction on screen...speckled image, skipping etc.
If the disc is known to be OK, then it might be cheaper to buy a second hand player from E-bay than get one repaired (depending on why it isn't working).
